A study of ecclesiastical stained glass windows was published as Stained Glass from Welsh Churches in 2014. It covered stained glass from all periods and included examples from different denominations from around 450 buildings across Wales.
An occasional series of studies of stained glass at particular locations in Wales have been produced by Martin Crampin since 2013, which are available at the churches and from Sulien Books.

Stained glass has also featured strongly in books and articles by Martin Crampin on the imagery of saints in Wales, published from 2020–24.
